Luau was born from a deep love for the ocean, travel, and the freedom of living slowly.
The name 'Luau' came into my life in Morro de São Paulo, Brazil — a place that changed me forever.
There, on the beach, I discovered the traditional Luau celebrations: magical nights under the moon filled with music, dancing, bonfires, freedom, connection, and joy. People gathered barefoot by the ocean to celebrate life together until sunrise.
That energy stayed with me.
The feeling of warm nights by the sea, moonlight reflecting on the water, salty skin, music in the air, and the freedom of being fully present became the soul and inspiration behind the brand.
What started as a personal journey through some of the world’s most magical destinations — from Morro de São Paulo to Ibiza and later Tulum — slowly evolved into the brand it is today.
Each place shaped Luau in a different way.
Brazil awakened the dream.
Ibiza helped me discover my creative essence.
Tulum transformed Luau into a lifestyle.
In 2018, while living in Ibiza, Luau officially came to life as a swimwear brand inspired by femininity, freedom, nature, and the beauty of slow living.
Later, in Tulum, the vision became even clearer:
to create timeless pieces that make women feel confident, sensual, effortless, and connected to themselves.
Today, Luau is a conscious, artisanal and nomadic beachwear brand inspired by travel, moonlit nights, island living, and the beauty of the ocean.
Every piece is designed with intention and inspired by the places, emotions, and memories collected along the journey.
